Lauren Schieber Ogden

Lauren is a theatre artist with experience in producing, directing, choreographing, costume design, set design, playwriting and performance. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a BA in theatre and foreign languages. She attended the NYSSSA – Theatre Program (2009) and the Cambridge Theatre Conservatory (2008). In college she worked as a producer for the Downstage Theatre Co. She helped to organize the Corinth Summer Theatre Workshop has worked on their productions every summer since 2008. The Corinth program produced two of her original adaptations, A 1920's Midsummer Night's Dream and Alice in Wonderland. Her 10 minute play, "Face the Music and Dance" premiered at Confetti Fest 9 in October, 2013, and her one-act play, "Paradisicle," was premiered at Hubbard Hall's Winter Carnival. Lauren co-teaches with Elisabeth Olsen at Saratoga Arts' Theatre Camp. She has also costumed multiple shows for Saratoga Children's Theatre. She teaches Spanish and French, grades K-8, at St. Mary's-St. Alphonsus RCS in Glens Falls, NY.
