Face the Music and Dance: Synopsis
Set in small-town U.S.A. in 1938, this is the story of Jim, who has assisted his father-in-law to commit suicide, and who must now face the wrath of his wife Nell. But this relationship is not the center of the play. It is the relationship between Jim and Nell’s sister Missy that gains center stage, and its journey from mistrust and misunderstanding to complete emotional dependency. Missy has just returned home after receiving news of her father’s death. She encounters Jim at the local gin joint.
